PuttingMaster® J316

The Biology and Physics Behind the J316

PuttingMaster® isn’t just a tool

it’s a neurological and biomechanical reset button for your putting game. Built on the science of brain plasticity and precision mechanics, the J316 trains your system to produce intentional, repeatable results.

The Biology of it all

Your brain filters sensory information to focus on the big picture, often discarding small details like micro-alignments and subtle impact cues. (Read more on Live Science)

By isolating and repeating high-precision tasks like pin-point putting, your brain builds new neural pathways - a concept known as neuroplasticity. (Learn more about neural pathways here).

The Physics

When a regulation golf ball rests on a putting green, 1/4” of that golf ball is in contact with the green.  With a regulation cup measuring 4 1/4” in diameter, that equates to 17 variable “paths” that can result in the ball going into the hole-even if you mishit your putt.

We call that, Putting to Variance® (PTV)

Instead of reinforcing near-misses, the J316 tightens the tolerance and forces you to hit your true line with precision. The result? You train for actual performance, not accidental success.

Why It Matters Scientifically

When the body is exposed to higher precision demands, the brain begins reshaping its responses - strengthening the motor pathways responsible for accurate, targeted movement.

This process - reinforcement through challenge and feedback - accelerates skill acquisition and improves accuracy, especially under pressure.

That’s why practice with PuttingMaster® doesn’t just improve your putting - it reshapes how your brain approaches it.

Proof is in the Putting

Bar chart comparing golf putting accuracy before and after using PuttingMaster for distances of 5-7 feet, 7-10 feet, and 10-15 feet. The chart shows increased success rates after using PuttingMaster.

Testing has shown that golfers using the PuttingMaster® J316 nearly double their one-putt percentage inside 15 feet after consistent training with the system.

your putting can make or break you.
